AWARDED INNOVATION FOR DISTRICT HEATING MONITORING |
House owners with district heating will from now on have the opportunity to get a better overview on how much energy thats used for heating and hot water. By knowing this research shows that by a changed user behaviour the energy consumption can be reduced by up to 20%.
The innovator behind it all Kimmo Yliniemi (KYAB) received this years Skapa award and will be the representative for Norrbotten in the grand final at the Technical fair in Stockholm 21st of October.
The platform used for the measuring unit is developed by CDT and Rubico, Kimmo will continue to collaborate with CDT in SABER project funded by Vinnova. The objective of the project is to test this solution in 150 households. |
